“Slow”_Gods speed!

January 2020 – New York

During the last couple of days the Lord spoke to me.  I love it to hear his voice and feel his presence. The word “SLOW” was indeed the word the Lord has given to me for the amazing 2020 year and revealed the following with me that I would love to share with you.

So does slow mean, being lazy, don’t care, not interested or being last.  Most definitely not when it’s God’s speed. It means doing it with intense focus and perfect completion every time.

Let’s look at some good examples of what gets better with time:

  • Good red wine
  • Mature cheese
  • Good coffee
  • Experience
  • Physical and emotional Healing

Slowing down to me means the following:

  1. Think before you speak and therefore form the message the Lord wants your to deliver so it comes out perfectly
  2. Time to do less … but more – in other words rather deliver 1 super amazing thing then doing 100 half completed things.
  3. Enjoy life – be in the moment, it means walking your dog, drinking your coffee or playing outside with your kids on the grass.

The enemy steals time from us in two ways, first by making us so busy that we don’t get time for our King and Savour or he tries to slow us down so much that you miss out on the plans of the Lord.

The speed God wants you to operate at will always be revealed by him and the Holy Spirit you have within you.  When we operate beyond our design our bodies take strain with sickness and fatigue and we are not able to spend time with GOD.  In His word he tells us “ask and I will give” Matthew 7:7  – how can we if we are so tired of either running or being so slow to miss out as we realise too late that we can ask Him for anything.

You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.  Acts 2:28. Your speed should allow you to enjoy life and find your strength in Him.

We all have a purpose for why God created us and loves us so much that he knows how much hair you have on your head.  Who can tell you their God does that?

Be on the lookout for what’s stealing your time with God and put on the brakes to slow things down to the perfect “Gods-speed”.
